Vision

To  manage the common for the enjoyment of the commoners and it's users, whilst conserving and promoting the natural heathland habitat

To conserve and enhance the heathland, flora, fauna and reduce non native species on Rushmere Common.

To maintain a diverse age structure of the gorse thickets by rotational coppicing reducing fire risk whilst maintaining diversity.

To maintain a diverse age structure of the heather areas.

Manage woodland to reduce encroachment and improve health of trees, through thinning.

To retain the common as an amenity for commoners, golfers and the general public.
